North Brooklyn Showcase with St. Nicks Alliance

June 3, 4–6pm
Géza, 306 Maujer

In collaboration with St. Nicks Alliance, Amant hosts the North Brooklyn Showcase which celebrates the voices and visions of young artists across twenty-three local schools. Guided by St. Nicks’ dedicated teaching artists, students share their work in dance, music, theatre, visual art, and the culinary arts—reflecting their creative strength and care for art across disciplines. This year’s theme, “Be the Change” emerges through the students’ artworks imagining caring, creative, and connected ways of living together. Whether by expressing identity, honoring community, building skills, or envisioning safer and more joyful shared spaces, each project shows that change begins with young people recognizing their capacity to shape the world around them.

Amant programs are always free. RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Seating is first come, first serve with some standing room available. Check-in for the event will start at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 03, in AZ Gallery, located at 306 Maujer.

North Brooklyn Showcase is an ongoing partnership and conversation between St. Nicks and Amant that honors arts education in schools. This program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
