Laszlo Horvath is a composer and interdisciplinary artist based in New York. His compositional practice moves between language and text, musical signification, non-linguistic sound objects, and visual assemblage. Working across genres and musical contexts, he explores how sound, language, and affect converge—not only as aesthetic choices but as lived material conditions. His recent work examines the historical subjectivity of speech and vocal performance, treating voices as both archival and performative material. His work spans collaborations, solo projects, and group exhibitions, including the 2025 Performa Biennale and the 15th Baltic Triennial.
